Today’s Running Tip: Taking your best friend for a run!

When running with your dog be sure to adjust your speed and the length of your run to your dog’s needs. Chances are your best friend is going to try everything to keep up with you and will not slow down when he or she needs to. I have seen dogs collapse mid run and suffer from extreme overheating and/or dehydration. Only take your dog for a run on cool, preferably overcast days and bring plenty of water for both you and your four legged companion.
